I'm excited to finally break the news about my upcoming trippy comedy! That's right a COMEDY. After all the years of people telling me I should make a comedy film It's finally happening. I've just recently finished writing the final version of the script and gathered a group of actors to play the parts. "Spacewalk" is a very simple story about 2 friends (Travis Holstead and Stephen Mussett) enjoying a game of Frisbee golf before they go to party at a friends house. What happens to them between that time is all down hill. To kind of brief everyone on what will be in the movie, here's what hints on what to expect. There is going to be a scene That involves a rave/bonfire trip that will include lots of glow sticks, strobe lights, laser show, confetti bazookas, and the whole nine yards. I'm also working in a famous character from one of my recent short films that ties into this movie. Of course, expect their to be some epic GoPro camera shots. As well as some twist that go on during the movie too.
I plan to start shooting mid April 2014. I also have a few people working on the music/score to the movie. The type of music I'm having put in the film is going to have that MC/DJ electronic genre. The reason why is because I want the movie to have that mind trip kind of feel to it. Also its something new I haven't tried and it'll flow good with the theme I'm trying to portray. No clue on exactly when I'll have this movie done, but my goal is to have it completed no later than July. I do plan to host a premiere of the movie. I expect it to have a runtime between 30-40 minutes maybe longer. For shooting dates, I'll keep everyone updated through social media as well as on here too. I'll have photographers and videographers on set taking pictures/video to keep everyone updated on the filming progress. Well be mostly shooting in The Woodlands/Conroe, TX area and we will be shooting a couple scenes out in Flatonia, TX. Expect lots of laughs and twist from this movie. I'm eager to see how this all falls in place. I have good feeling about this movie. Can't wait to finally put it all together and show everyone the what I have in store for this movie. Get ready to have your mind blow! -Richie Director/Writer

A couple weeks ago I volunteered to help Brad Meyers, a Conroe Courier Newspaper writer, make a restaurant review video for him at Twin Peaks. The video went good, the food was amazing and the girls were too notch as well. It was my first time making this type of video for Brad. I plan to make more videos with Brad once we both have free time again. The video made into Brad Meyers article in the Conroe Courier Newspaper, as well as a paragraph explaining me and my website. This was my second time being features in the Newspaper for my work. Told you I'd be back in the newspaper one day, but this won't be my last time! Brad Myers of “The Conroe Courier Newspaper” wrote an article about internet artist
who make videos. I had the special privilege of being one of the people he added in his article. He found me from my CP Nation music video and this is my very first of many newspaper articles to come about me and my work. I’m excited and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for me in the future. -Richie This friday 12-02-2011 I'll be showing my recent short "Sins of Our Hands" that I have been working on for about 3 months. It'll be held at Lone Star College Montgomery in building B in room B102. Doors will open at 9pm and close at 9:45pm. The movie is about 38 mins long. The admission is free and anyone is invited to come to the premiere. The room I booked is a mini theater room that seats around 80+ people with a projector, surround sound, and theater like seating. Food and drinks are allowed to the premiere. I'll have the premiere filmed for a special feature to the DVD that I'll release very soon after the premiere. Again I want to thank everyone who was involved in the making of this film. I couldn't have done it without everyone. So I can't wait to see everyone there!
